Unspeakable Horror!

This week I got my copies of Canus (Vincent Price Presents Issue 4), and I am very proud of this issue.  Not only is the art and the coloring amazing, but I also think it is one of my best stories (ever).

As I was reflecting on the story of Canus yesterday, I remembered a twisted French film about a crazy dog that I watched in college many years ago--that film is called Baxter.  Although I wasn't thinking of Baxter when I wrote Canus (the two dogs are actually quite different, especially since Canus is a cyborg dog), I'm sure Baxter influenced my subconscious mind because I watched Baxter many times in college. 

Baxter is really a groundbreaking horror film because of the way it uses a voiceover narration to characterize the thoughts of sinister (and sympathetic) Baxter.
